Marking and Feedback Policy
Marking in all its forms, helps teachers to identify the progress that students are making and inform the planning of their lessons. It informs the teacher what the appropriate pitch for the lesson is, to support students to achieve the best possible outcomes by empowering them and aiding their learning.
For feedback to be most effective it needs to be a two way process and students must take an active role in this process in order to make appropriate progress and improve outcomes. Below are the individual Marking and Feedback Policies from every department, designed to support students’ learning and improve progress.
